Lubbock House updates.

The master bath has lots of mirrors but had little storage. We put a small chest under the right side of the counter. We also added two wall cabinets - one right side up and the other on top upside down.

Jerry reworked the master shower, redoing the grout and caulking.

We added a wall medicine cabinet to the main bath over the commode.  Plans  are to take mirrors out and replace with paneling or plywood. The new bathtub and shower surround is on order and should be in about the middle of the month.

The living room is opposite the dining room and leads into the hallway to front door and guest part of house.

The dining room has a beautiful chandalier over the table.

The laundry room has plenty of storage. We also put some pantry shelving in it that we made years ago in Odessa. Our kitchen pantry is not quite large enough.

The den is a large room with a gas fireplace.

This goes out to the patio and back yard.

This is the front bedroom guest room.

This is the back bedroom guest room. We are still unpacking boxes from there.

We added some new appliances to the kitchen.

The cooktop, refrigerator and dishwasher are new as well as a new kitchen sink.

We kept the microwave and the oven. Microwave is fairly new and newer ovens will not fit in space allowed. Old one seems to work OK. I did not burn my cupcakes or cake!!

We also set up a coffee bar to free up some counter top space.

The master bedroom is very large. We put our desks in there temporarily until we get the office/sewing room all set up.

The closed in garage will be the office /sewing room. It is very full right now and we are still working on it. After a garage sale, there should be a lot less in there. Still unloading boxes there too.

Plan to keep most decor in boxes for now since the whole house needs painting.
We had new tile put down in the office and really like it.

We enjoy the private front porch. With a dog gate on one end and metal gate on the other, the dogs can be out there too.
The patio still needs work.

This is a small utility room leading to the furnace room. The freezer is there as well.

The cellar is mostly clean now. Still needs some attention and I am so grateful it is a large one - size of a small bedroom. I am not fond of tight places. I have been down in it and it is OK.

We found a bag full of vintage Mason/Ball jars down there.

It needed a lot of cleaning and clearing junk out.

Steps are very steep so cinder blocks made shorter steps.
