Our Shop Building - Lubbock Project 3

The weather and termites had pretty well destroyed this old building.

tearing down old building

The old building was attached to the fence so we had to take it down as well. There was no frame for the fence so we put one up.

This is our new shop delivered to our back yard

We laid out the building on the slab. There will be room behind the building and on one side for storage.

Jerry cut holes for the anchors going into the slab with his plasma cutter.

The door is on the east side of the building at the corner.

Double Gate - Lubbock Project 2

We added a double gate to the back side fence for easy access. We really appreciated the help from our friend Paul, from Azle. I especially was grateful for his help so I could visit with his wife Jean. They are great friends!!

Slab for new building - Lubbock Project 1

Our shop building was in disrepair and not large enough so we had a slab added to the existing one and torn down the old one down and will replace with a larger one. We didn't think about the doors on the old one hanging down lower than the new slab so it was a bit of a chore to get them open!

Our next project was to put a double gate in the side fence to make it easier to bring in building materials and park our utility trailer in the yard. Living on the corner has it's advantages.
