Making these two wall hanging was quite an experience. So much preparation to get the ties ready took a lot of time, but they both turned out nice. This one was made with the front wide part of the ties and measures 43 by 46.

 Someone gave me these hand sewn small pieces of vintage fabric. This is what I decided to do with them. It was a real challenge with them not all being the same size. Some ladies were really good a hand piecing, others not so much but the effort was there. I found this solid navy sheet to put them on and later found the plaid sheet for the backing. Since it had so much fabric in the top, I decided to quilt as is with no batting inside.
