Spring Break Visit -

On Wednesday , we had a nice visit from our daughter, Sheri, two grandsons, Brenden and Jacob and granddaughter, Emma.





Brenden brought a project computer for Grandpa to check over. They worked to put a system together for him. It was good to see them.

 As usual, Daisy and Darlin' think everyone comes just to see them and make themselves right at home in their laps!













 I think Jacob is a dog whisperer by the way the dogs cozy up to him!


Then today, Mike, Lili, and Kalina came for a visit. Lili's sister, Diana, who is visiting this month from Greece came too.  We met them at the nursing home and had a good visit with Grandpa. I somehow missed getting more pictures on my phone.
 

We went out to eat and Lili insisted on paying. She said is it a custom in Bulgaria for the birthday person to pay for the meal.

We have such beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren!!

Ryan's Batman / Spiderman Party!

We have had a busy couple of weeks - from a blizzard in Amarillo, a ladies church retreat (for me) in Oklahoma the day after we returned, then a trip to the Austin area for a granddaughter's birthday at the beginning of the week and great grandson's birthday the end of that week!!

We stayed in our little home away from home (love that 5th wheel) parked in son, Jay's back yard. We had a good visit with them - our daughter-in-law, Rosario, is a fantastic cook! Son, Jay made some boom boom sauce and we had chicken burritos with the sauce for dinner. Mmmm good. We bought groceries one evening and she cooked- salmon, baked potatoes, salad, some yummy jalapeno cheese bread and Boston Cream pie with fresh strawberries on top for dessert. Hungry yet??

Our grandson, Russ, arrived on Friday evening with our three great grandchildren. His wife had previous obligations so she could not come this time. 

Ryan was given a choice between Chuck e Cheese and the Bounce House for his birthday activity and he chose the Bounce House. I think his sisters Brianna and Amorina wanted him to take the other one. After the party, we headed home and missed the fun at the bounce house.

Kalina's Birthday Party

 

 Our granddaughter, Kalina's 3rd birthday party was held at Chuck e Cheese and they really do it up right.

 The kids all had a great time and adults helped them out playing games to win them tickets toward a prize. Sandwiches and pizzas were great as well as the birthday cake made by our daughter-in-law, Lili and her sister, Diana, who is visiting with them this month from Greece.

The Park

 

 Kalina requested that Grandma Chris and Grandpa Jerry take her to the park and then to the play area in the mall, a few days later. I got some good pictures at both places. She had a great time, and her Mom and aunt got some shopping done at the mall, while we enjoyed our time with Kalina.

We got together with both families( less grandson, Todd, who had other commitments) later that day for a nice meal out.  Todd left Saturday morning for a band trip to Florida.
