Casita Changes- Almost Ready To Roll!

Just for fun I took this picture of our little "toaster" car like it was pulling it - NOT!! We will actually be pulling it with our Tacoma truck.

We did a little updating to the Casita but have not cleaned the outside yet.  It needed new curtains as the old ones were sun bleached and rotted in places. I recycled some old curtains to make new ones for the trailer. I am not fond of pleating but did my best with them. There are four windows so I made eight panels.

They were attached to the walls with screws on each end and snaps thru the middle. The snaps were attached to the curtains on a plastic strip so it was easy to remove and stitch it to the new ones.

We bought some ironing board fabric at attach to the backs to reflect the sun and make it cooler inside. It cuts the heat but still lets plenty of light in.

We still have a couple of small things to adjust but it it looking good.

DH also made a brace for the TV shelf since that was missing.
This makes into a full size bed.

I put some rubberized material under the cushions by the small table and it worked well to keep them from sliding off. This makes into a single bed.

There is a small closet.

There was no microwave in it so we purchased one and installed it in the cabinet perfect for it. It has a nice sized refrigerator that runs on gas or electric and a three burner stove.

And a small all-in-one bathroom with sink, potty and shower.

And we have room for the dog beds, all three!
