We are so happy our DS could visit with us a few days before he makes a trip to Bulgaria for a short visit. Daisy and Darlin are enjoying his attention too.

Since he will not be here next week, he bought me a beautiful orchid plant for Mother's Day. He assures me that it is easy to care for and I need all the help I can get. Mom always sent a sympathy card with any plants she gave me!! LOL

That is a moth orchid, and a very pretty one at that. They aren't hard to care for at all. They don't like to dry out, but moist is better than wet. And they like as much light as you can give them without putting them in direct sunlight. If you have a north-facing window, that usually works well.
